Landed Privacy Policy

This policy explains what data the Landed: Profit Tracker & COGS app ("Landed", "the app") stores about your Shopify store, why, who helps us process it, and how you can have it deleted.

Who we are

Landed is operated by AHMAD MIBAYYAD IT SERVICES CO. L.L.C, a company registered in the United Arab Emirates (licence number 1098855, issued by Dubai Economy (Department of Economy and Tourism), Dubai). Our address is Office J63, Al Murar, P.O. For the data described below, you (the merchant) decide why and how it is used, and we process it on your behalf. Our Data Processing Addendum is at https://applandedprofit.com/legal/dpa.

What we store

When you install Landed we store:

• Your shop domain, shop currency and timezone.
• The shop's own contact email address, as set in your Shopify store settings.
• Your plan and trial state.
• Orders without any customer data: order number and dates, totals (subtotal, tax, shipping, discounts, refunded amount), line items with product titles, SKUs and quantities, discounts, tax lines, shipping lines, refunds, payment transactions and fees, test and cancelled flags, and the sales channel.
• Your product variants and their costs.
• The cost settings you enter in the app.
• Meta ad spend, read-only, per ad account, if you connect Meta.
• The Meta access token you connect (stored encrypted) and your ad account IDs and names.
• A log of the daily profit emails we send.
• The email recipients you enter for the daily email.

What we never collect

Landed does not collect or store customer names, email addresses, phone numbers or postal addresses. The app is built to work at Shopify's Protected Customer Data Level 1, which means it does not read customer personal data from your store. Because of that, we do not know which country an order was shipped to.

How we use it

We use this data only to run the app for you: to calculate your profit and costs, show your dashboard, send the daily email you asked for, manage your plan and trial, and keep the service working. We do not sell your data and we do not use it for advertising.

Sub-processors

We use the following companies to process data on our behalf:

• Neon: Postgres database hosting, EU region (eu-central-1).
• Resend: sending transactional email, such as the daily profit email.
• Meta Platforms: the Marketing API, used only to read your ad spend. We never create or change ads.
• Fly.io: application hosting, servers in Frankfurt, Germany.

Retention and deletion

We keep your data while the app is installed. When you uninstall, Shopify sends us a `shop/redact` notice 48 hours later, and we then delete all data we hold for that shop.

You can also ask us to delete your data at any time by emailing support@adspypro.net.

Shopify may also send `customers/data_request` and `customers/redact` notices. Because Landed stores no customer personal data, there is nothing to return or delete; we acknowledge these notices.

International transfers

AHMAD MIBAYYAD IT SERVICES CO. L.L.C is based in the United Arab Emirates. If you are in the European Union, your data is processed by us from outside the EU. The European Commission has not issued an adequacy decision for the UAE, so we rely on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses (Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2021/914), Module 2 (controller to processor). They are incorporated by reference in our Data Processing Addendum. Some of our sub-processors are based in the United States: Resend (email delivery), Meta Platforms (ad spend) and our hosting provider, Fly.io. Those transfers rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework where the provider is certified, and otherwise on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or export the data we hold about you, to object to its processing, and to complain to your data protection authority. To use any of these rights, email support@adspypro.net. If a request concerns your own customers' data, note that we hold none.
